Facebook parties: Are you wondering why they just don't grab people like they used to?
A couple of years ago, these online parties seemed to be the "thing" to really bring in sales and new recruits.
Now...yawn
When I see them posted I generally don't even blink. I've seen sooo many of them and so often.
And here's the real problem:
When I see someone having yet another party, it's usually just posted as a Facebook party and company it's for.
There' NO INCENTIVE to go.
I'm talking about a reason to make people want to get there and get there fast.
For example:
Facebook Party! Come and see all the new products at GreenVille Healthy Snacks! Tonight 7:00
Get a FREE 6-Grain Nutbar...but only if you're the first three to join my party tonight at 7:00. Be there to save 10% on all our new healthy snacks!
Which party looks more interesting and gives me a reason to lineup (if I'm interested in healthy snack bars)? (BTW...the company is made up)
Your party is getting lost among the clutter.
Do you even watch the shopping channels?
If so, you know they often will tell you how many are bought, how many are left in-stock and let you know that the discount is good only for a short time.
Do the same thing.
Let people know you only have 3 Nutbars to give.
The discount is only good for the length of the party (make it a set amount of time).
Announce each sale.
People get excited when they see others purchase and they want it!
Do the same thing.
Inspire more interest in your parties by giving people a real reason to want to join you.
