Why do this? It helps create a varied interest in your blog. Instead of just blah, blah, blah about your products and how great they are, talk about something related, but off-topic. Something your readers might like. This will also help you search engine visibility. People love reviews that are honest, not paid and not promoting something they sell. Be honest, be candid, be concise. 

Post your blog on social media. Use tags to direct traffic to your post. Do this every Monday. Pretty soon, people will find your reviews, (and if done right), will like what they see and want to see more from you and venture around your site thus bringing your potential sales up.
