BOTTOM LINE:
If you want to sell more, recruit more and get more money each month, you need leads.
But it gets really confusing trying to figure out where and how is the best method.
Cheap or free, preferred!
Maybe you spend hours on Facebook trying to start conversations and build your base.
Or, do you try to post often (and everything) trying to see what "sticks" so you can lean into that?
I'm going to give you a FREE leads source that is mega useful for getting solid leads.
And these leads are proven to have money.
No more freebie seekers on Facebook.
No more holding "virtual" parties that result in a few dollars but not much more (if that).
Where do you find these leads?
And...what's the catch?
Honestly, no catch. Just some upfront work to source and contact them.
Here's how to do it:
1. Join LinkedIn - a huge base of professional people
2. Build your profile
3. Start posting relevant information and sharing it.
4. Start asking for connection requests - DO NOT do this until you've build a solid profile and shared some good relevant information.
5. Anyone who joins your network:
--Send them a thank you for connecting with you (do this within 24 hours)--Send them a link to a special "gift" - this can be a coupon, a free gift with purchase or a small gift certificate to use in your shop
DO NOT:
Write them a long message trying to sell them on your business, your products or anything else. Keep it short 3-4 lines max.
DO NOT:
Sell or try to recruit. Too many people get a connection and then write a long message about how great they and their products are... NO ONE CARES at this point.
You must first build up your connection with them. Build trust. Build interest.
Here's how:
Just write something like this:
Hi! Thanks so much for connecting with me here. I value your connection and I'd really love to hear more about your business.
SallyP.S. Here's a little freebie for you (hope you like it!) (add link)
Nothing more than that.
If they respond, great. If they don't, no worries, just follow up next week:
Hi--
Here's a new post I thought you'd like (attach link to your weekly post).
SallyP.S. Wondering if you could open that link I sent you last week?
Continue to follow up, add connections and use this formula.
NOTE: And this is important:
Any page you send them to, should have a sign up form on it so you can capture their information. This is critical to building a solid email list of interested people you can then market your products and business to in the future.
Once you've built up a few hundred connections, you'll have people who start to request connecting with you.
Be picky about who joins your network.
You'll have people wanting to connect just to build their own connection network.
Only let people in who are either 1: In your target prospect audience, 2: You know or wish to know.
Once you've done this for a few weeks/months, you'll have a wide-ranging group of interested, connected people.
You can use this on other social media platforms, but working with LinkedIn is proven to have a network with a higher net worth and a more business-savvy mindset.
This place is clean and has nice ambiance, more like modern than classic. Our visit to LA venues was just amazing. I believe it was a treat to be here. It would be a treat to attend another event here.
