WAHMs: How to talk to your party plan prospects (Part One)

Question: Are you more attracted to a busy person with much going on or a person who seems to have nothing happening and can leisurely talk on the phone for an hour?

LESSON ONE: Be in a hurry with your prospect. Start your calls or conversations with the hurried stance; you'll find there will be fewer questions and people will respect you and your time.

Here are some "hurried" script examples:

For warm prospects:

● "Hi! I'm so glad I caught you. I only have a minute..."

● "I'm super busy today, but I wanted to talk for just a minute..."

● "I need to run out the door in a moment for a meeting, but I wanted to call you quickly..."

For cold  prospects:

● "I wish I had more time to get into this with you, but let me quickly tell you..."

● "I need to get to a meeting in a few minutes, but first let me tell you..."

Talking to a person and letting them know that

1.) You're not going to take all day with them  and

2.) Your message is short and sweet will set them at ease and warm them up to your message.

INTERVIEW: Lynne Cooper Hall - Younique Opportunity: See New 3D Lashes!

1. Tell us about your business opportunity--what do you represent? Younique Minerals Cosmetics 2. How long have you been involved with this? How did you get into it? I fell in love with the 3D lashes by Younique because I discovered that fake lash glue has Formaldehyde in it!! Like the stuff in embalming fluid! The Younique 3D mascara uses all natural green tea fibers (I could almost hear my eyes saying thank you!). It was soon after finding the 3D lashes that I realized that ALL the other products that Younique offers have the same amazing results with none of the nasty, fillers, paraben free, talc free, never tested on animals and hypo-allergenic. I started my business in 2013 and we've been steadily growing ever since! 3. What type of team members are you looking for? I am looking for people who love to chat, share their experiences, network and grow their business by sharing about amazing naturally based make up! This is a GREAT business for WAHM’s because the plat...

WAHM Business Tip: Are you "Dialing for Dollars?"

Get your FREE sample of this fun book!   Are you spending enough time following up?   You probably work like crazy to get good leads, have interesting promotions and book sales events. But are you so busy focusing on getting NEW leads that you forgot about OLD ones? Your "warm" leads (leads who have already met you/ bought from you, etc.) are the best source for new business...and new recruits. If they have purchased from you, then be sure to put them on your priority list for follow-ups. If you contact each warm lead each month (by phone, email or mail) you will certainly find yourself with higher sales. It's easy to forget, get busy, get re-focused, etc., however if you establish a "tickler file" to keep yourself on track you will find it much easier. These files can be physical or electronic and will keep you in constant contact with your customers and potential customers. Another method is to s...
